The Election From Hell

Tomorrow night we are almost certainly going to see and hear Donald Trump declare himself the winner of the 2024 election. He will likely do this no matter what the results show at the time, or how many votes remain uncounted.

We know Trump will do this because it’s exactly what he did in the 2020 election. And just like in 2020, Trump has been sowing mistrust about the 2024 election results. He has once again set the stage to claim that the election is being stolen from him.

Trump has been doing this even as most polls have shown that the race is a basically a coin flip. Only in Trump’s eyes, and the eyes of hardcore Trump supporters, the coin flip is: heads Trump wins and tails Harris loses.

Perhaps the worst part of this election from hell is that it’s not going to be officially over in just one day, or even a few days. A projected winner likely won’t even be as quick as the 2020 election, which took four days for Biden to reach the necessary 270 delegates.

Determining a winner this time around will take weeks, not days, and this is not only because Trump will not accept a loss, but because both parties have been preparing to litigate the results for a long, long time.

But whereas the democrats have just as many lawyers ready to go as the republicans do, the GOP has a major advantage beyond the courts. The GOP controlled state legislatures who could very well resist certifying their states election results.

These state legislatures could even appoint alternate presidential electors, which might result in congressional Republicans endorsing these alternate electors – or to at least reject Democratic electors, when congress convenes to certify the outcome.

Trump and the people around him will also try to ensure that Harris is denied 270 votes in the Electoral College, sending the election to the House, where Republicans are likely to have the numbers to choose Trump as the next president.

I was planning on doing a more in-depth video about the various scenarios that could happen in the aftermath of this election, but I now realize that most of those scenarios are dependent on daily events over the coming weeks.

So, as much as this might fatigue some of us, including me, many of my videos during the next month will deal with the daily chaos that’s coming our way. And make no mistake about it: Donald Trump is the REASON for this daily chaos.

Here’s what we know right now. Donald Trump will simply NOT accept any result that doesn’t have him as the winner. And, neither will his supporters. There is no scenario in which Trump loses and walks away gracefully.

Because, in case it’s not obvious, the truth is that Donald Trump is an evil man, and he would rather burn this country down than accept another election loss. ♦
