Trump’s New Bible Has His Name Above God

Several months ago we saw the huckster-in-chief officially become a Bible salesman, as he teamed up with Lee Greenwood on the God Bless the USA Bible. If you recall, this version of the Bible included the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and a few other documents.

Many Christians were, at the time, at least uncomfortable with the idea that nationalistic documents were being included alongside the Bible. However, others thought this was a great idea, and that this Bible would help introduce new people to the Word of God.

Well, for those of you who weren’t too bothered by Trump selling Bibles earlier this year, I have an update for you that SHOULD bother you a lot. And this update is courtesy of a friend of the channel who altered me to this story.

A few weeks back, the God Bless the USA Bible came up with three new special editions, as you see pictured on the screen. They are the “Inauguration Day Edition Bible”, the “President Donald J. Trump Signature Edition Bible”, and “The Day God Intervened Edition Bible.”

Of course, the fact that our alleged America-first president peddles Bibles made in China is a bit ironic, but take a look at how these new editions have Trump’s name at the TOP of the front cover.

Trump’s name is above the words “Holy Bible”; it is above the word God in “God Bless the USA”; and in the edition Trump signed – which you can buy for $1,000 if you’re so inclined – Trump’s signature is on the inside front cover. It is the FIRST thing you see when you open this Bible.

So, for everyone who thought the previous editions of the “God Bless the USA” Bibles were terrific, what are you going to say now that Trump actually has his OWN NAME at the top of these Bibles? As if THAT’S the most important thing?
