Donald Trump is the Chosen One

You probably remember Wayne Allyn Root. He is the gentleman who, about 4 years ago, proclaimed that “In Israel, Trump is loved like the King of the Jews.” An over-the-top statement if there ever was one, and which Trump himself soon thanked him for.

Here’s the background on what happened: On Tuesday, August 20th of 2019, Trump said that any Jewish person who votes for a democrat demonstrates either a “total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty.”

Trump’s remark drew immediate criticism that he had used an antisemitic trope accusing Jews of dual loyalty. The Jewish Democratic Council of America even said that the president was trying to “weaponize and politicize antisemitism” for political gain.

However, what was absent in many of the responses at the time is that Trump wasn’t referring to how Jewish Americans had divided loyalties between America and Israel, but to how Jewish Americans weren’t being loyal to him personally. They were, instead, loyal to the democrats.

As is well known, very little upsets Trump more than perceived disloyalty, and he specifically views Jewish Americans as being disloyal to HIM. It’s along those lines that Wayne Allyn Root, a self-described Messianic Jew, felt the need to defend him.

The same day that Trump commented on Jewish disloyalty, Root took a question on his television show from a caller who asked, and I quote, “why so many Jews hate President Trump.” Root responded as follows.

“President Trump is the greatest president for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America, he is the best President for Israel in the history of the world … And the Jewish people in Israel love him … like he’s the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God.”

Here’s where things began to get even crazier.

The next day Trump tweeted three times how appreciative he was of what Root said, and even added a “thank you” as if he was acknowledging a true statement. Later on that day, in front of the media, Trump also famously looked up at the sky and said, “I am the chosen one.”

So Trump’s remarks about Jewish Americans being disloyal, his three tweets quoting Root’s comments that he was like the King of Israel and second coming of God, and his remarks that he is the chosen one, all came within roughly a 24 hour period.

But the reason I’m mentioning all this from 4 years ago is because Wayne Allyn Root is not only back, but he’s taking his praise to Trump to a new level, and Trump himself is once again quoting him. Here’s what just happened.

Last week, on August 4th, Root penned an article on his website called “Donald Trump is the Chosen One” in which he makes the case that everything surrounding Trump is biblical. And just like he did 4 years ago on Twitter, Trump once again took notice of this over-the-top praise by Root, and posted a link to the article on Truth Social a couple of days ago on August 10th.

I’m going to read a few excerpts from Root’s article, because it’s symbolic of the strong delusion within much of Christianity. I’ll also put a link down in the description in case you’d like to read it for yourself. Pay attention to how Root continually compares Trump TO Jesus.

Donald J. Trump is “the chosen one.”

The attacks on him are literally biblical. He is being persecuted like no one since Jesus. His trials and tribulations are followed by the entire world. Whether loved or hated, his name is on the lips of everyone in the world. He is being supported through tribulation like no human being in history. His popularity grows after each criminal indictment. He remains positive and steadfast despite facing over 500 years in prison. He is the living embodiment of “whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.” Trump cannot be defeated.

Trump is literally both a man of destiny and a walking miracle.

Think of this man’s life. Hollywood would laugh the screenplay out of town. They’d call it “ridiculous and unbelievable.”

Trump built the world’s greatest skyscraper in the toughest city in the world. He became the biggest celebrity in the world. He put his brand name on every product known to man- from hotels to airlines to casinos. He became the creator and star of one of the most successful shows ever on TV- “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Next, without any background or experience in politics at any level, he beat the greatest array of Republican politicians ever assembled to win the GOP presidential nomination. Then he survived the biggest political controversy ever (the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape) …and pulled off one of the biggest upsets ever, over the most famous female political figure in history…to become the 45th President of the United States.

After four years of the most intense hatred, personal attacks and media demonization ever experienced by anyone…and multiple impeachments…against all odds, the man gained 12 million new voters and got the most votes of any president in history. The election was rigged and stolen from him…he was unafraid to say so…and kept saying it…and now he’s been indicted for saying it, in a free speech country. Now he faces life in prison for his beliefs.

Talk about biblical drama. Trump either wins the presidency again and produces the greatest comeback story ever, or he may wind up dying in a prison cell.

And through it all…the defeat, nonstop controversy, unrelenting attacks, never-ending criminal indictments…Trump goes up in the polls. He’s leading the GOP presidential primary by 40 points or more. He’s leading President Biden by a wide margin in most credible polls. Each indictment makes him stronger.

Folks, that’s biblical. That’s destiny.

The last act has yet to be written. But I believe it’s now clear, this man has been chosen by God, to save America, American exceptionalism, and the American Dream.

He is the man chosen to expose the corruption of our government…the weaponization of our government…the criminal silencing of dissent by our government. He is the man chosen to stop evil China from dominating the world. He is the man chosen to stop the communist, fascist, globalist takeover of our country. He is the man chosen to take the slings and arrows and protect the great American middle class. Trump is the only thing standing between us and the end of America.

This is all biblical. The last act hasn’t been written yet. But it’s now clear…

Trump is the chosen one.

Wayne Allyn Root is simply a microcosm of all that is wrong with Christianity. Christians are embracing a deeply sinful man all because of what we might gain in THIS world. But even more than embracing him, they are elevating him to a level alongside Jesus.

And no one is happier with this promotion of Trump as the chosen one than Donald J. Trump. For Trump demands loyalty and revels in praise, and there is no surer way to achieve this than to have Christians think you were chosen by God.

Here’s the thing, though. Trump won’t remain satisfied with simply being called God’s Chosen One. Of sharing the characteristics of Jesus. The time is coming when Trump will demand all of this glory for himself.

His ego is so extreme that the day is soon coming when he will exalt himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God will sit in the temple of God, proclaiming himself as God.
