A Glimmer of Hope With Trump Supporters

For Christians who are opposed to Trump, there is the common belief that Christians who support him are being deluded. That they are completely willing to follow him straight down the road to perdition, and will support him no matter WHAT he says or does.

But, every now and then there is a glimmer of hope. That perhaps not ALL of his Christian supporters are so eager to walk lockstep behind him. And, in fact, a few of them are beginning to suspect that he could be the Antichrist.

A couple of days ago I had a poll on my channel, which asked the following question: “If you are a Trump supporter, how do you feel when you hear someone say he could be the Antichrist?”

Most of those who answered were not Trump supporters, as you can see by the 85% figure. However, that still leaves 15% who identified as Trump supporters. And in a poll with slightly more than 2,600 responses, that works out to 390 people.

Now 390 is still a pretty small sample size, of course, but what I find encouraging is that out of the 390 who identified as Trump supporters, roughly 260 of them answered that either it bothers them a lot that Trump might be the Antichrist, or that at least they can’t ignore the possibility.

So for those of us who do speak out about how Trump lines up with the biblical descriptions for the Antichrist, we should remember that our words ARE getting through to a few people. And that is all the more reason why we should not stop.
