Big Tech Bends a Knee to Trump

In yet another sign of the extraordinary power of Donald Trump, this past week we have seen a number of tech billionaires basically bending a knee before him.

Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, and who I mentioned in my last video about The Orb, is the latest tech billionaire to donate one million dollars to the Trump Inaugural Fund.

In a written statement, Altman said: “President Trump will lead our country into the age of AI, and I am eager to support his efforts to ensure America stays ahead.”

Altman’s million dollar donation put him in the same company as Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg, who also pledged one million dollars to the Trump Inaugural Fund.

News sources also report that Bezo’s company, Amazon, would provide a $1 million in-kind donation by broadcasting Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20 on Amazon’s Prime Video. But all of this devotion to Trump wasn’t limited to million dollar donations.

Apple CEO Tim Cook dined at Mar-a-Lago on Friday night, which was just one day after Sundar Pichai, Google’s chief executive, and Sergey Brin, a Google founder, together dined with Trump on Thursday.

Mark Zuckerberg flew in to meet Trump on Thanksgiving Eve, even though Trump had previously threatened to put him in jail for life. Jeff Bezos will also sit down with Trump next week, despite a long history of Trump insults and threats.

As the Wall Street Journal put it:

“When Donald Trump arrived at the New York Stock Exchange this week for a post-election victory lap, dozens of influential executives lined up to catch a glimpse of the man who holds the future of their businesses in his hands.” – The Wall Street Journal.

“Gathered behind red velvet ropes were senior executives at Visa, Meta Platforms, Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab and Citadel, according to people who were present. Real-estate and aerospace magnate Robert Bigelow was spotted in the crowd, as was investor Bill Ackman.” – The Wall Street Journal

Marc Benioff, the chief executive of Salesforce and the owner of Time Magazine, posted on X on Thursday that it was “a time of great promise for our nation,” after Time awarded Trump its coveted “Person of the Year” designation.

Marc Andreessen, an influential Silicon Valley venture capitalist who endorsed Trump during the campaign, said that he had spent about half of his time since Election Day working on the presidential transition. He framed Trump’s win as a cultural moment for a “techno-optimist” ideology.

Of course, of the myriad of tech executives, no one has been more involved with Trump than Elon Musk. But while Musk may have led the way, many other tech companies and their top executives have acknowledged the reality of getting business done in Mr. Trump’s Washington.

The reason these tech and corporate executives are bending a knee to Trump is because they recognize that they have to or they will risk the future of their own businesses by opposing him.

They understand that, just like he did to the GOP, and is in the process of doing to the main stream media, Trump will also destroy them if they do not capitulate. They will have success as long as they are in alignment with what Trump wants.

And all of this is a reminder of perhaps the biggest reason for the power of the Antichrist in the last days, which is that no one can fight him. No one will stand up to him because he will destroy others by any means necessary.

What we are witnessing right now is that many of the richest, most brilliant, and most powerful people in the world are bending a knee before Donald Trump because they are afraid of him. Deep down inside, they know that no one can fight the beast. ♦
