A few days back I had a rather meaningless little poll on my channel, in which I asked a theoretical question:
“Suppose Trump signed an executive order called the ‘Proud American Act’, and it required all American citizens to have a mark on their hands to prove their citizenship. Anyone without the mark would be immediately deported. Would you take that mark?”
The results of that poll were pretty much what was to be expected. Out of the nearly 2,000 people who responded, 87% stated that they would absolutely NOT take the mark. Another 8% said that they weren’t American, so obviously any potential Trump executive order would not apply to them.
After posting that poll, however, I started to realize that I actually missed what just might be an important part of the real Mark of the Beast. Now, this might seem a bit far-fetched at first, but stay with me here for just a moment.
Let’s consider the following four points.
1) Financial companies are constantly trying to get new customers by offering a bonus for opening a new account. For example, here’s one that says if you open a new checking account with them you’ll get a free $300 for doing so. Here’s an even better offer of $600, in case you’re interested.
2) The Trump administration has a new program for what they call “self-deporting” immigrants, and it offers them a free trip back home and $1,000.
3) The Bible tells us that the love of money is at the root of all evil. It doesn’t say this about any other sin. Not murder. Not idolatry. Not hatred. Not lust. It’s the love of MONEY that is at the root of all evil.
4) The Bible also tells us that the eventual Mark of the Beast will be connected to buying and selling – which is the whole purpose of our having money. Controlling access to money is the method by which the Antichrist and the False Prophet will rule the world.
On the surface it might not seem as if those four things are related, but here is what I’m starting to think: The Mark of the Beast, when it does come about, will likely have a financial incentive tied into accepting it.
Let’s think about it for a second: When needing the Mark in order to buy and sell becomes reality, there will be millions of people – perhaps tens of millions – who will recognize that this IS the Mark we were warned about in the Bible.
Many of those people will not take it under any circumstances – even though they know that they will no longer have a way to buy and sell – that is, they will not be able to earn a living.
But what if there will be a major financial incentive also tied to accepting the Mark of the Beast? For example, when anyone accepts the Mark of the Beast in order to buy and sell in the worldwide beast system, they also receive a $10,000 bonus for doing so.
And maybe it’s not just $10,000, but also additional perks such as discounts on shopping, exclusive benefits, and other deals we might normally associate with how financial institutions attempt to lure new customers.
How many people who might be a bit unsure about taking the Mark of the Beast just might do so if a substantial financial incentive was given to do so? Money that might allow them to buy a car or move away from where they currently live?
All of this is not as crazy as it sounds, not only because of the Bible’s lesson about the love of money being the root of all evil, but also how the Mark of the Beast itself is clearly connected to money. It will control how we buy and sell.
But in addition, we have the man who already lines up with the biblical descriptions for the Antichrist being repeatedly referred to as a transactional president. And what does transactional mean? “Relating to the conducting of business, especially buying or selling.”
Donald Trump is ALL about money, and not just his own of which he loves to brag about, but how money is involved in everything he says and does. His great economy; his tariffs; his lower taxes; his lower gas prices; his trade deals; his $1,000 offer to immigrants to leave the country; and on and on.
I am convinced that there will be a substantial financial inducement to take the Mark of the Beast. Everything about Trump points in that direction. He will think that money can buy evertthing.
However, he doesn’t know TRUE Christians. ♦
