Submitting To Trump

Christians disagree with one other on many, many things – ranging from the timing of the rapture, to what day is the Sabbath, to the nature of hell, to the shape of the earth, and on and on.

In fact, finding two Christians who agree on EVERY single doctrine, and the interpretation of every single Bible verse down to the tiniest detail is next to impossible.

However, if there’s one thing we would all agree on, it’s that we should pray for God’s will to be done, not ours. It was even taught to us by Jesus, as he prayed “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

But truly praying that God’s will to be done means submitting ourselves to God, and we cannot submit ourselves to God without humility. We are told that God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

“Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” – James 4:6-7

Since, as Christians, we are to pray for God’s will to be done, and we are to humbly submit ourselves to God, it should come as no surprise that the Antichrist embodies the opposite of those things.

He is unable to humbly pray for God’s will to be done because he is an extraordinarily prideful man. It is his OWN will that has been done throughout his entire life.

But even more than that, not only can he not submit himself to God, he wants us to submit ourselves to him. It’s all about HIS WILL being done in the last days.

And there might not be a better example of how Donald Trump wants others to submit to him than in a video he posted on Truth Social last week. The video was done by one of his supporters, but it is at least the second time that Trump has posted it on his account. Here’s that video.

It simply cannot be any clearer: Donald Trump wants the entire world, including Christians, to submit to his will. To worship him as God. ♦
