The Opposite of Vile

In a number of videos over the past 5 years I talked about how back in late 2016 I became convinced that Donald Trump was the biblical Antichrist – and how in early 2017 I watched a video by Brother James Key which helped confirm that I was on the right path.

However, back then I still needed to verify everything through the Bible. So, during those first few months of 2017 I started to re-familiarize myself with the biblical traits for the Antichrist, and over and over again, I was amazed at how well those biblical descriptions fit Trump.

For example, among those descriptions is how the Antichrist will have the mouth of lion – meaning he will roar when he speaks, as if he is the king of the beasts. He will be a loud and boastful man, who magnifies himself in his own heart.

He will also come in his own name, meaning that he is well known. He has worldwide fame – and this worldly fame will deceive Israel into accepting him, even though they rejected Jesus who came in the Father’s name.

The Bible also states that the Antichrist will not care about the truth – casting it to the ground, as if it has no value. And this is because what IS of value to the Antichrist is for his own name to be glorified. The truth simply doesn’t matter, unless he can use it to magnify himself.

To make a long story short, in 2017 I was led to dozens of Bible verses that point to Donald Trump as being the Antichrist. I also learned that while many people might match SOME of those descriptions, there simply isn’t anyone on the world scene who matches them all – except Trump.

In case anyone watching desires more information, I’ll post a link down below to a couple of videos that examines those Bible verses more in depth. In this video, however, I want to talk about one other description of the Antichrist.

That description is how the Antichrist is referred to as a “vile person” in Daniel 11:21. Now, back in 2017, I didn’t think too much about this particular description, and just thought of it as another way of saying he will be immoral and unethical.

Yet, over the years I started to realize that “vile” is far from being just a simplistic trait for the Antichrist. Rather, it has a depth of meaning that actually makes it the PERFECT – even the ultimate – description of him. Here’s what I mean.

Let’s look at just a few of the synonyms for “vile”: contemptible; despicable; depraved; disgusting; nasty; repugnant; repulsive; revolting; sleazy; vulgar.

Now notice the way Donald Trump speaks and acts. Look at what he posts on Truth Social. On an almost daily basis, he is contemptible, disgusting, repulsive, vulgar, and so much more. He is simply “vile” in every sense of the word.

But what’s fascinating isn’t just how perfectly all these other words describe one Donald J. Trump, but how the antonyms for “vile” also perfectly describe how a true Christian should be: comforting; gentle; good; helpful; honorable; kind; moral; pure; virtuous; worthy.

As Christians, our challenge then is to be the opposite of vile. To be gentle and kind and honorable and moral. Or to put it another way, to be the opposite of Donald Trump.

Because the truth is that vileness simply jumps out of Trump. We can hear it when he speaks, which is why his voice is so unsettling to many of us. We can read it in his posts on Truth Social, which usually leave us just shaking our heads in disbelief.

Yet so many of us seem to be drifting toward the vileness he spews, rather than being repulsed by it. We have become angry and hateful. We denigrate others and toss out childish insults, just like he does. Some of us are becoming mini-Trumps.

So, rather than becoming more and more like Donald Trump, we need to fight back against this vile-mindset that is poisoning the church. And by fighting back I mean we all need to speak and act like a Christian would.

And in fact, the Bible tells us exactly what we are to do in Romans 12:2.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” ♦
