Trump Is a Changed Man

There have been multiple news reports about how Donald Trump is a changed man after the assassination attempt on Saturday night.

He is reportedly changing everything from the tone of his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday, to make it more unifying, to suggesting that the campaign between him and Biden could be more civil from here on out.

According to Axios, “Trump plans to seize his moment by toning down his Trumpiness, and dialing up efforts to unite a tinder-box America, when the Republican convention opens Monday in Milwaukee.”

“I think it’s real … Getting shot in the face changes a man,” said Tucker Carlson.

But as things continue to go Trump’s way, is he REALLY a changed man? Based on a recent post of his on Truth Social, I’m not so sure. Check out what he said, and you tell me if it sounds like a changed man.

“As we move forward in Uniting our Nation after the horrific events on Saturday, this dismissal of the Lawless Indictment in Florida should be just the first step, followed quickly by the dismissal of ALL the Witch Hunts — The January 6th Hoax in Washington, D.C., the Manhattan D.A.’s Zombie Case, the New York A.G. Scam, Fake Claims about a woman I never met (a decades old photo in a line with her then husband does not count), and the Georgia “Perfect” Phone Call charges. The Democrat Justice Department coordinated ALL of these Political Attacks, which are an Election Interference conspiracy against Joe Biden’s Political Opponent, ME. Let us come together to END all Weaponization of our Justice System, and Make America Great Again!”

To me, all of this sounds less like a man who is changed, than it is a man who is making you an offer you can’t refuse. ♦
