Trump’s Epiphany

In this video, I want to talk briefly about an article that a friend of the channel alerted me to, which asks the question we were all wondering: “Is Trump’s epiphany actually voicing Bible prophecy?”

Now, the article itself appears on World Net Daily, which if you don’t know, is one of the original conspiracy and misinformation sites out there, having been founded in 1997 by Joseph Farrah.

By comparison, that is a good two years before Alex Jones and his InfoWars site, which was started in 1999, and a full decade before Mike Adams and his Natural News site, which started in 2008.

What makes World Net Daily stand out from most other conspiracy sites is that it has always mixed in heavy doses of Christianity and Bible prophecy with every story.

This particular article is a good example, as it suggests that Trump is speaking in ways that can be compared to parables relating to the return of Jesus.

I’ll post a link below in case you’d like to read this in full, but here are just a couple of the stunning quotes from the article, which are mostly from a Christian author named Joe Kovacs.

A popular Christian author says there’s a divine reason many are now warming up to Trump, as his statements are actually previews of what is prophesied in the Bible.

These declarations by President Trump are part of a real-life parable projecting what’s going to happen when Jesus returns to Earth,” says Joe Kovacs, author of “Reaching God Speed: Unlocking the Secret Broadcast Revealing the Mystery of Everything,” a best-selling book magnifying how Jesus “did not tell them anything without a parable.”

Millions of faithful believers are awaiting what’s often called the Second Coming of Jesus, and that will usher in a time of massive ‘getting along,’ and as Trump said, ‘Getting along is a great thing.’”

The author stresses that while Trump is not God, he does in a metaphoric sense represent ultimate geopolitical power.

Just a quick side note here, as it really says something that Kovacs felt the need to state that Trump is not God. It’s almost as if some of these people are aware of how they’re sounding when they speak about Trump, and feel a need to address it.

Just as the God of the Bible is the most powerful force in the seen and unseen worlds, Donald Trump is, at least for the present time, the most powerful man in our physical world, and many of his previous enemies and rivals will want to be his friend in the second time of dealing with him,” Kovacs indicated. “It’s a complete opposite because people will no longer be opposing God.”

When Trump says, ‘The first term everybody was fighting me,’ that’s metaphorically referring to all of human history before the Second Coming of Jesus. That’s ‘the first term.’ From Adam and Eve all the way through today, people have been fighting against or wrestling with God.

But there is another term on its way, ‘the second term.’ That’s the time period or age when Jesus returns. As Trump said, ‘In this term, everybody wants to be my friend.’ In other words, once Christ returns to Earth, people who had previously been fighting God will have a new respect for the Creator, and will actually want to get along with Him. It’s during the second term when the attitude of resistance melts away.”

There are many Scriptures referring to the future paradise on Earth, what could be called a “Golden Age,” where evil will be done away with and individuals will actually have great personal remorse for their resistance to the ways of their Maker.

Kovacs notes that God is often “declaring the end from the beginning.” In other words, letting everyone know the conclusion of the story right from the start. “So even in the beginning of President Trump’s final term, God is declaring the end, revealing what will happen in the end of this age of mankind and the beginning of the kingdom of God.”

World Net Daily doesn’t have the readership it once had, especially going back to Obama and the lead up of Trump’s first term, but this article demonstrates the willingness by many of these far-right sites to continue conflating Donald Trump with Jesus Christ.

Although this article does strike me as a bit of a paid advertisement, its content reflects most of the articles on World Net Daily which intertwine Trump and Jesus. It’s almost as if the intention is for Christians to get psychologically acclimated to the idea that Trump and Jesus are interchangeable.

I do believe this is going to get even more blatant over the next couple of years. Far-right websites like Gateway Pundit, Breitbart and the like, who all love Trump, will more and more drop subtle hints that Donald Trump actually has a lot in common with Jesus Christ.

But they are more than just hints. They are intended to make the idea acceptable in the minds of Christians. And that brings up the question of why would this be happening.

What is the spirit behind this that is motivating far-right sights to talk about a vile man like Donald Trump as being comparable to Jesus Christ. Whatever that spirit that is, it is NOT the Holy Spirit. ♦
