Trump’s Evil Mugshot

Donald Trump’s mugshot has caused quite a stir, as nearly everyone knows, and a variety of reactions, as well. While Trump’s supporters seem to love the sternness, the defiance, and even the anger on Trump’s face, others have only one word for how he looks: evil.

Of course, just like beauty, saying that something “looks evil” is a bit in the eye of the beholder. Whereas some see a tough guy defending America, others see an evil desire for vengeance.

It’s a bit reminiscent of Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart’s famous statement from 50 years ago, in which he said he could not find the exact words to describe pornography, but that he knows it when he sees it.

Perhaps that’s how many of us feel about Trump’s mugshot. We might not have one specific description that fits every kind of evil, but we know evil when we see it.

On a bit of a humorous level, Trump’s booking also had him listed as 6 foot 3 inches tall, and weighing only 215 pounds. One has to simply look at Trump to know that the numbers are probably a bit off, to say the least.

By the way, Trump’s booking form which reported the height and weight was filled out by his aides rather than Georgia jailhouse officials. And this points out how those people around Trump are always playing to his ego, even on things that are a bit ridiculous on the surface.

One person who was not quite ready to call Trump’s weight ridiculous was, of course, Donald Trump. He happily shared links on his Truth Social account to stories that described him as being in shape comparable to an NFL star.

Trump’s Truth Social page is also filled with ads featuring the image on everything from t-shirts to coffee mugs, as this is one more thing that money can be made off of. It also reinforces the idea that Trump is being persecuted. A blameless man, taking all the slings and arrows for us.

On a side note, if there’s one perfect example of how Trump supporters have an alternate view of Trump, one that is not based in reality, it might be this quote from conservative talk host and author Mark Levin. Listen to how Levin describes Trump.

“To every one of these disgusting efforts by the democrats, whether it’s Manhattan or Washington or Florida, or now Atlanta. In every one of these the man has shown complete class. And strength. Complete class and strength.”

That’s right, Trump has handled everything with class. Now, I don’t know about you, but I think using the word “class” in connection with Trump is about the most delusional thing one can do. If anything, Trump is precisely the opposite of “class.” The word “vile” comes to mind.

Finally, Sarah Palin suggested that civil war might be the inevitable result if the prosecutions of Trump continue. Palin said “We’re not going to keep putting up with this.”

And the sad truth is, she’s probably right.
