In case you missed it, Trump once again used biblical language in connection with himself. He did this in a post on Truth Social, which reads as follows.
“Every time you see these Radical Lunatics and their partners in the Fake News Media talking about the ‘Trials and Tribulations’ of President Donald J. Trump, please remember that it is all a coordinated HOAX …”
The bible, of course, often talks about the trials and tribulations that Christians will go through.
This is yet another example of Trump using language that he knows will resonate with his Evangelical base, especially as he continues to portray himself as an innocent victim who is being persecuted unjustly, and is taking all the slings and arrows FOR his supporters.
Besides the ‘trials and tribulations’ comment today, in the last couple of months Trump has also made several other remarks that mimic, or mock, what the bible says.
Recently we had him mentioning the unpardonable sin, and also talking about how he will bring peace to the world, which is similar to how the bible talks about the Antichrist’s covenant with many bringing us peace and security.
Then we had Trump referencing 2024 as the “final battle” in speeches, and using the words “final battle” to solicit donations. Such words, of course, resonate with his Christian supporters who see him as a force for good in the battle of good vs. evil.
And then Trump made a curious reference to his supporters as being a small group of people, which is fascinating since Daniel 11:23 specifically tells us that the Antichrist will become strong with a small group of people.
If all of that wasn’t enough, we had Trump making several references to the “seal being broken,” which many took to understand that he was referencing the bible.
And of course, we also have Trump’s reference to America wiping away its tears, a mockery of this bible verse: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Trump isn’t doing these things by accident. Instead, he and his inner circle are deliberately using language associated with bible prophecy in order to reinforce the belief among many of Trump’s supporters that he was chosen by God to lead America during these end times.
But on top of that, Trump is also attributing to himself the traits and characteristics that belong to Jesus, as he has describes himself as the savior of America, an innocent, blameless and persecuted man who is taking all the attacks for us, in order to save us from evil.
Trump is gradually, step by step, worming his way further and further into the hearts and minds of Christians. And I am convinced that he’s doing this because he’s jealous of how Christians love and praise Jesus. Trump wants this for himself.
He repeatedly mimics Jesus and mocks the bible in so many ways because he desires to replace Jesus in the hearts and minds of his supporters. And a great many of them don’t even seem to notice.
Thank you for watching, and I’ll be back soon with another video in a couple of days. I’ll talk to you guys soon. ♦
