The Antichrist Embodies All the Things of This World

If there’s one message that constantly runs through the bible, both the old and new testaments, it would be that the things of this world pale in comparison to the things of God.

But more than that, numerous verses specifically tell us not to get involved in the things of this world, especially if we have accepted Christ into our lives. Here are three of those verses.

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” – Colossians 3:1-2

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” – 1 John 2:15-16

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” – Romans 12:2

Thus, we can see that the bible teaches us to not love the things of this world, but instead focus on the things of God so that we might find the path that leads to His Kingdom.

It is no surprise, then, that the final end-times figure the bible warns us about, the Antichrist, is himself the ultimate symbol of someone seeking worldly things. He is the embodiment of all worldly things, wrapped up in one man.

Whether it’s money or fame or power or lust or greed or pride – all of these things are part and parcel of Donald J. Trump. He has sought after and attained the things of this world to such an extent, that he has come to symbolize them.

We have seen these worldly desires on full display for many years with Trump, as he has made no secret of his greed and love of money. He famously admitted that he’s been greedy for money his entire life.

But Trump’s desire for the things of this world didn’t end with money, as he sought out – and achieved – fame and power like few others have. And his uncontrolled lust and covetous has led to affairs, divorces and allegations of sexual misconduct.

Trump’s pride in himself and what he has accomplished has led to an extreme level of narcissism. His constant bragging and massive ego being prime indicators of how much he magnifies himself in his own heart.

But perhaps there is no more obvious sign of loving the things of this world than seeking vengeance against one’s enemies. As we know, God tells us that vengeance is His, not ours, but Trump’s well-known thirst for vengeance is one of his defining traits.

The point of this video is that Donald J. Trump symbolizes all the things of this world. The money. The power. The fame. The lust. The greed. The pride. The thirst for vengeance. All of it.

When the bible tells us to not seek after the things of this world, it is ALSO telling us to not seek after the things of the Antichrist by following him or supporting him in any way, for he represents the things of this world.

While the Antichrist will succeed in all that he does, including gaining the entire world, it will last but for a short time. Let us not follow him down the road to perdition by also running after the things of this world, but instead seek out the things of God.
